No statistical significance by was noted by one-way ANOVA between wt and Nr4a1 KO animals or with MgSO₄/BMTZ treatment. Error bars represent ±SEM. c Through undetermined interactions the expression of Nr4a1 with perinatal neuroinflammation results in vascular injury (hemorrhage). In turn, the neuroinflammatory process is activated directly or indirectly, as indicated by the upregulation of principal cytokines Il1b, Il6, and Tnf. This process appears blunted by MgSO₄/BMTZ, which may be related to Nr4a1 suppression.
