HyVt-292 was reconstructed from the metagenome of deep-sea massive sulfide deposits from the Southern Mariana Trough (NCBI accession number DRR093004), which is hydrothermally inactive. JdFR MAGs were reconstructed from the data for subsurface fluids of the Juan de Fuca Ridge flank.
