Sum of intra-plus extracellular concentrations (Σintra + extra) of 44-methylgambierone and gambierone (in pg eq. MTX1 cell−1) as well as distribution (%) between cells (Cell.) and culture medium (Med.) of G. polynesiensis strains, at the exponential (Expo.) vs. stationary (Stat.) phases. The LOQ was established at 40 ng P-CTX3C mL−1. Only one batch culture was analyzed per clonal isolate in a single run. Hence, it was not possible to test for the statistical significance of variations between strains.
