The multiple roles of miRNAs in TNBC. The miRNAs have a role as targets or regulators involved in aberrant epigenetic regulation in TNBC. Moreover, miRNAs function as oncogenic (Upregulated, Inline graphic) or oncosuppressive genes (Downregulated, Inline graphic) associated with epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT), stemness maintenance, invasion and metastases, cell proliferation and survival, and apoptotic regulation via special targets, resulting in the relapse, development, or inhibition of TNBC.
