Blot quantification shows an increased phosphorylation level of P38α in (C) NRVMs as well as (D) AMCFs post-TGF-β treatment. (E) Representative blot images of α-SMA expression in AMCFs and (F) blot quantification shows a significantly less α-SMA expression (fibroblast activation) in NRK-2 overexpressing AMCFs treated with TGF-β, **p<0.005, ****p<0.0001.
