Comparison between amount of cf‐Mt‐DNA content in FF and characteristics of the granulosa cells. Follicular contents were obtained from 30 antral follicles (3‐6mm in diameter), and follicular fluid (FF) and granulosa cells were separated by centrifugation. DNA was extracted from the FF, and copy number of mitochondrial DNA in the FF was determined by real‐time PCR. Dead cell rate and apoptosis rate were determined by propidium iodide, Hoechst, and Annexin staining.
