Estimated apparent dissociation constants, amplitudes, and K_d confidence of the complementary oligonucleotides before optimization was carried out. Apparent K_d values are stated with “≥” since an exact determination of K_d is only possible when the binding curve reaches a plateau at high concentrations. In case the plateau is not reached, the binding curves can only be used to determine the lowest possible K_d, while the real value could be higher.
