Wild-type mice were exposed to 3-week normoxia (room air) or Sugen+Hypoxia (10.5% O2; SuHypoxia). mRNA expression levels as assessed by real-time RT-PCR analysis demonstrate the effects on hexokinase 2 (HK2) and 6-phosphofructo-2-kinase/fructose-2,6-bisphosphatase isoform 3 (PFKFB3) levels in mouse lung, right ventricular and left ventricular tissues. Bar graph demonstrating fold change in mRNA expression normalized to 18s. n=3–4 mice/ group; mean±SEM.
