The angiogenic effect of cobalt in 6 weeks. A. H&E staining shows that 6 weeks after the surgical procedure, in the 0, 0.1, and 0.5 ppm groups, plenty of newly formed blood vessels were noted. In the 1 ppm group, only a few blood vessels could be found on the boundary of bone and collagen. In the 5 ppm group, numerous blood vessels were found in the fibrous tissue. B.
