Effect size of inoculation treatment on physiological measurements in dry and wet families (germination, root:shoot biomass ratio, leaf N isotope ratio (δ15N), leaf N content (%N), leaf C:N ratio (C:N), height, turgor loss point (ΨTLP), root exudate concentration, leaf C content (%C), leaf C isotope ratio (δ13C), photosynthesis (A), stomatal conductance (gs)). A positive effect size indicates an increase in the physiological measurement. Bars represent 95% confident intervals. Effect sizes were considered significant if the 95% confidence intervals did not overlap with an effect size of zero. N = 4. Seedlings were ~11 months old for all measurements except germination (14 days old) and height (~9 months old).
