Figure 3

Trabecular bone in the distal femur with fluorescent labels (calcein and alizarin) in (A) male wild type (WT), (B) male Keap1 heterozygous (Ht), (C) female wild type (WT) and (D) female Keap1 heterozygous (Ht) mice, indicating mineralizing surface (MS/BS), mineral appositional rate (MAR) and bone formation rate (BFR/BS). There was no difference in MS/BS, MAR and BFR between WT and Ht mice in trabecular bone. Data were tested using two-way ANOVA with Keap1 genotype and gender as main effects.
