A comparison of the dose profiles for a single 16mm shot calculated using the TPS, the commercial software and the new secondary dose calculation software. From left to right, the profiles are taken in X, Y and Z planes, respectively. From superior to inferior, the profiles are at gamma angles of 70, 90° and 110°, respectively. For all gamma angles, the new dose calculation software and the TPS match well. However, at gamma angles of 70 and 110°, the commercial software show discrepancies in the tail and penumbra regions.
