In Morris water maze memory was assessed in terms of (A) acquisition during training sessions and (B) time spent and (C) number of entries in target quadrant during probe trail. (D) Discrimination index was observed in novel object recognition task. Passive avoidance task was used to monitor step through latency during (E) short term (STM) and (F) long term memory (LTM) sessions. In elevated plus maze transfer latency was also monitored during (G) STM and (H) LTM assessment. Data is presented as mean ± SD (n = 6). Data was analyzed by post-hoc analysis following one way ANOVA. Significant differences were obtained *p<0.05, **p<0.01 from control rats; ++p<0.01, +p<0.05 from AD-like model rats.
