Children showed elevated alpha synchronization during the retention period compared to baseline, in a distributed network of frontal, parietal, and temporal regions (pcorr<0.001). Nodes were scaled by degree (the number of edges connected to a particular node), such that larger node size reflects nodes with higher degree (i.e. a greater number of connections to other nodes in the network).
