A case of a dog with sings of a pituitary macrotumor. A thirteen-year-old, castrated Maltese was referred with complaints of polyuria, polydipsia, seizures, and progressive ataxia. Results of endocrinological tests suggested a diagnosis of Cushing’s syndrome. MRI of the pituitary gland was performed under general anesthesia. Gd-enhanced T1 weighted images revealed a pituitary mass, which invaded into the third ventricle, compressing the surrounding tissue. PBR was 0.42, and MRI-grading was IV-A. (A) Gd-T1 weighted sagittal image. (B) Gd-T1 weighted transverse image.
