Relative quantification of COX-2, NF-kB and iNOS gene expression in mouse prefrontal cortex specimens treated with MIA-690 (1–5 μM) and MR-409 (1–5 μM), ex vivo (n = 5 for each group of treatment). Data were calculated using the 2^−ΔΔCt method, normalized to β-actin mRNA levels, and expressed relative to control (calibrator sample, defined as 1.00). Data are expressed as means ± S.E.M. and analyzed by analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Bonferroni post-hoc test *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01 vs. LPS group; ^#p < 0.05 vs. co-respective treatment with MR-409.
