The PH(1–110) GFP particles are stable after 1 year at room temperature. PH(1–110) GFP particles that were maintained under different temperature conditions during: a 1 month, b 3 months, c 6 months and d 1 year were injected into mice and IgG antibodies specific to GFP were measured. All groups were compared against the group of mice immunized with particles maintained at − 70 °C. RTD = Room Temperature Dehydrated, RT = Room Temperature.
