CORRECTION

PMCID: PMC6976786  PMID: 31970762

The authors of Leung et al. (2007) would like to highlight errors in Figure 6b and 6d of their article.

In the two sets of blots in Figure 6b (ERb siRNA and NS‐siRNA) it appears that the same set of beta‐actin controls was used in the original figure, but they should have two corresponding loading beta‐actin controls of their own.

On the PEDF blots in Figure 6d the “+ Rb1’ and “NS‐siRNA + Rb1” bands look very similar. The authors have indicated that this could be a result of mis‐aligning the bands during compilation of the Figure.

Owing to the time that has elapsed since publication, the authors were unable to locate the original blots in order to resolve these issues and provide a corrected Figure. These errors do not affect the results or conclusions cited in the article and the overall results have been independently supported by other groups since publication of the article.
