Effect of quercetin on the bodyweight and bodyweight gain in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-challenged rats.The data are presented as the mean ± SEM, with nine rats in each group.There was no significant difference among groups with regard to the bodyweight (A), but the bodyweight gain of the model rats in LPS-challenged group were less than that of the control ones, and this change could be reversed in the quercetin- and fluoxetine-treated group (B). *P < 0.05, compared with the control group; ## P < 0.01, compared with the model group.
