Survival of C. elegans exposed to strains of P. aeruginosa, K. pneumoniae, and A. baumannii relative to E. coli OP50. C. elegans survival after challenge with P. aeruginosa PA14 (A), other P. aeruginosa strains (B), K. pneumoniae (C) and A. baumannii (D) was recorded every day until 100% mortality was observed in the E. coli OP50 control. A log-rank (Mantel–Cox) test was used to compare the mortality of all strains relative to OP50 and significance is indicated. ^∗P < 0.05, ^∗∗P < 0.01, ^∗∗∗P < 0.001, ^****P < 0.0001.
