Values for R² indicate goodness of fit for fast-spiking neurons with narrow waveform (FS neurons), burst-firing neurons with wide waveform (BT neurons), and regular-firing neurons with wide waveform (RF neurons). Parameters a and b indicate the rate of improvement in decoding accuracy with an increasing number of neurons included in input firing vectors. Parameter c indicates the theoretical maximum of decoding accuracy with an infinite number of neurons.
