The Effect of nucleolin mutant Nuc1‐309 (lacking the carboxy terminus of nucleolin) on the expression and secretion of EGF and PDGF‐BB. VSMCs were transfected with the nucleolin mutant (Nuc1‐309) and the recombinant plasmid (pcDNA3.1‐Nuc), cells were treated with 10−5 mmol/L Ang II for 48 h, the total protein was extracted from the transfected cells, and then the RT‐qPCR, Western blotting and ELISA were performed. Ang II: Ang II treatment; pcDNA3.1‐Nuc: nucleolin overexpression plasmid, GFP: used to observe the nucleolin mutant (Nuc1‐309); Nucleolin: expression of nucleolin. β‐actin was used as an internal control.
