Growth curves of S. lugdunensis WT, ΔlytSR, and complemented strains. Bacterial cultures were grown in TSB at 37°C. Growth was monitored by measuring OD_{600 nm}, and viable cell counts were determined by plating diluted aliquots on TSA.
