Knockdown of CRY2 Enhances Osteogenic Differentiation

(A) Western blot analysis of CRY2 expression in shRNA stably transfected cells. (B) qRT-PCR was performed to determine the expression levels of OCN, ALP, Col1a1, and Runx2 in shRNA stably transfected cells and control cells. (C) Alizarin red staining and ALP staining in CRY2 shRNA stably transfected cells compared with control cells. (D) Alizarin red-S staining was quantified by densitometry at 562 nm. (E) Relative ALP activity was measured during osteoblastic differentiation of C3H10 and C2C12 cells. β-actin is a protein-loading control. All assays were repeated at least three times.
