Spatiotemporal modulation of light: acquisition and processing. Sources at different wavelengths are modulated in time at specifically chosen frequency. Light from these sources is combined and modulated in space using a spatial light modulator. The scene is acquired using a fast camera. The acquired images are then processed in the temporal frequency domain to separate the contribution from the different light sources, and processed in the spatial frequency domain to extract the optical properties at all wavelengths.
