Reduced glutathione (GSH) and cysteine content in organs of young and aged mice. GSH (A) and cysteine (B) contents were quantified in the spleen, lymph nodes, lungs, pancreas and brain of young (8‐week‐old) and aged (15‐month‐old) mice through HPLC according to the procedure described in the Materials and Methods section. Values represent the mean ± SD of three mice, each performed in duplicate (n = 6) and are expressed as µmoles/g organ.
