Possible functional lateralization of the IPS for arithmetic processing during development. Based on the literature, activation of the left IPS increases and activation of the right IPS is stable during development in right-handers. Contrary, it is assumed here that left-handers show the opposite pattern resulting in right-lateralization of the IPS for arithmetic processing.
