Verteporfin- versus sodium porfimer-mediated PDT-induced cell death in five pancreatic cell lines. The death rate of HPNE cells with treatment at a concentration of $0.0025\mu \mathrm{g}/\mathrm{ml}$ of verteporfin was slightly lower than that of $0.25\mu \mathrm{g}/\mathrm{ml}$ sodium porfimer treatment ($P<0.05$). No statistically significant differences existed between other cell lines.
