Notes Gloucestershire antibiotic prescribing guidelines created and reviewed annually by local pharmacy advisors, specialist consultatns and GPs and are approved by the local Drug and Therapeutics Committees and Local Medical Committees. They are based upon local antimicrobial sensitivity patterns and trials on antibiotic use in general practice.
