Ocular challenge model: Animals were vaccinated twice 21 days apart followed by ocular challenge with 1x10⁴ HSV-1 (McKrae) 3 weeks after last vaccination and monitored for 25 days. N = 15 mice per group. B) Kaplan-Meier Survival analysis following ocular challenge. (C) Post-challenge body weight on day 0, 7 and 15. Percentage change in weights post challenge were presented in all three groups and percentages were normalized to the initial weight at day 0. Data are represented as Mean ± SEM.
