Comparison of plasma homocysteine in IgAN patients, LN patients, MCD patients, and healthy controls. The majority of patients with IgAN showed elevated plasma homocysteine (>10 μmol/L). Plasma homocysteine in IgAN patients was significantly higher than those in patients with MCD and in healthy controls but comparable with those in LN patients.
