Vinculin is dispensable for neutrophil recruitment in vivo. (a) Percentage composition of control (Vcl^f/f) and vinculin knockout (Vcl^f/fMX1^cre) neutrophils in the peripheral blood and peritoneal lavage, 4 hours after induction of peritonitis in mixed chimeric mice (n = 5 mice, 2 independent experiments). Analyzed using two-way ANOVA with Tukey multiple comparison test. (b,c) The arrest and time course of sustained adhesion of neutrophils in response to intravenous injection of CXCL1, and over the 15-minute period immediately following (n = 12 fields of view, across 7 chimeric mice).
