(2016) and based on studies performed between 2000 and 2016: the pooled prevalence of Echinococcus multilocularis on the main land of Norway is zero, however the pooled prevalence is 9% on the Svalbard islands due to Artic foxes. Prevalence data from Spain originated from single studies.
