Table 3. Optimal diagnostic algorithms using combinations of highly predictive antigen targets.

Combinations of 3, 4, or 5 targets, in which detection of at least 2 targets scores positive for the infection, have been found to identify Lyme(+) and Lyme(-) samples with high sensitivity and specificity.
