(A) Number of attacks encountered by the rats undergoing defeat (submission) was similar across all the five days of social stress (Day 1: 4.7 ± 0.3; Day 2: 4.3 ± 0.3; Day 3: 4.4 ± 0.4; Day 4: 4.8 ± 0.3; Day 5: 4.7 ± 0.3; p = 0.71, one-way ANOVA). (B) Latency to submit was similar on all the five days (Day 1: 191.9 ± 21.4 s; Day 2: 201.3 ± 27.7 s; Day 3: 188.2 ± 27.8 s; Day 4: 186.2 ± 27.0 s; Day 5: 163.4 ± 20.9 s; p = 0.874, one-way ANOVA).
