Comparison of sodium flux at the interface of the brain tissue and the ventricular system with sodium flux at the interface of the brain tissue and the subarachnoid space after (A) increasing P_BCSFB, (B) decreasing $P_{B C S F B}^{'},$ (C) increasing P_BBB, (D) decreasing $P_{B B B}^{'}$ by 20%. The positive sign of the flux indicates that sodium is diffusing from the CSF to the brain tissue, while the negative sign indicates that sodium is diffusing from the brain tissue to the CSF.
