Study criteria.

Inclusion criteria	Exclusion criteria
Age 18-80	Age <18 or >80 years
Signed written informed consent	Unable to give informed consent
Newly diagnosed, Stage III-IV, high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) or benign ovarian tumour or normal ovaries	Pregnant
	Cancer other than Stage III-IV HGSOC
	Concurrent other active cancers
	Concurrent significant pre-existing major medical conditions (such as heart, liver or vascular diseases)
No prior chemotherapy or radiotherapy	Major surgery, open biopsy or significant trauma or injury within 28 days prior to sampling
	Receiving NSAIDS, anti-inflammatory steroids or immunosuppressant agents within 14 days prior to sampling
	Active inflammation, significant trauma or open wound
