The difference between the measured specific heat of water and ice $Ih$. According to ref. [45], such a quantity gives a good estimation of the configurational contribution: $C_P^{Conf}=\Delta C_P=C_P-C_P^{Ih}$. The data deal with water in the following samples: silica gels (6, 12, and 52 nm pore sizes), MCM ($1.6$, $1.8$ nm [53,54] and 2, $2.4$ nm (new data)). The values coming from thermodynamical considerations are also reported [45].
