Construction of sterol regulatory element binding protein (SREBP) decoy ODN. (A) The target sites for SREBP were selected via the sequential overlap-simulation of secondary structures using the S-Fold program. SREBP ODN ligates the annealed SRE-1 and annealed E-box motif (consensus sequence is blue and underlined). (B) Electrophoretic mobility shift assay (EMSA) was conducted to investigate the effect of SREBP decoy ODN on SREBP expression in high-fat diet (HFD)-induced hyperlipidemic mice.
