siRNA assay. The experiment promoted a decrease in metallothionein (MT) expression, when compared to the scrambled control (A). Similar to MT, the expression of TGF-α was reduced in comparison with the control (B). An increase in TNF-α expression was visualized after MT2A gene silencing (C).
