(a–c) Western blot (top) and densitometric analyses (bottom) of NGB protein levels in MCF-7 cells treated for 24 h with the vehicle (DMSO), E2 (10 nM), D and its metabolites (0.1, 1.0, and 10 μM). The amount of proteins was normalized by comparison with tubulin levels. Data are the mean ± SD of four different experiments. p < 0.001 was determined with Student t test with respect to the vehicle (*) treated samples.
