Enhanced electropermeabilisation of adherent DC-3F cells with pPBS treatment. Cells were pre-treated with pPBS for 10 min. and exposed to 8 pulses of 100 µs and 1100 V/cm at a 1 Hz repetition rate. The cell membrane permeabilisation was monitored by the fluorescence of the YO-PRO^®-1 iodide taken up by the cells. Data are presented as median values ± SD of independent triplicates. Statistical analysis used the One-way ANOVA followed by Bonferroni’s multiple comparison test. **** p < 0.0001.
