Increased levels of senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP) markers and activation of NF-κB p65 in hDPCs after exposure to visfatin. Human dental pulp cells (hDPCs) were pretreated with FK866 (10 µM) for 2 h and then incubated with visfatin (500 ng/mL) for 24 h. (a) Cell lysates were subjected to RT-PCR to determine the mRNA levels of indicated SASP markers. GAPDH was used as an internal control. (b) The immunocytochemical analysis of NF-κB p65 protein localization in visfatin-treated cells. Cells were evaluated using a fluorescence microscope. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue).
