Interventions I: Home safety inspection, video, handouts, modelling re: safety and managing dangerous child behaviour; hot water thermometers; choke tube. 
 C: Home visit with video, hand‐outs, modelling on language stimulation.
Outcomes Home inspection 2 weeks after home visit: 
 1) Final alarm ownership. 
 2) Final functioning alarms. 
 3) Smoke alarms acquired. 
 4) Functioning alarms acquired.
