 Duration: 2 weeks. Diagnosis: not prestipulated, acute agression thought to be due to serious mental illness. 
 N=300.*
 Age: adults.
 Sex: both. 1. Loxapine: dose 25‐50 mg/6‐12 hours IM. N=150.
 2. Haloperidol + promethazine: dose 5‐10mg, 25‐50 mg IM stat. N=150. Tranquil by 20, 40, 60, 90, 180 mins.
 Need for further medication. 
 Need to call doctor again.
