Viability of the HTT103QP strain (a) and the α-synuclein strain (b) with 5 mM FMN supplemented during chronological aging. Viability is shown as the fraction of PI negative cells (n = 3 ± SD). HTT103QP cells (c) and α-synuclein cells (d) display an increased H2O2 tolerance with FMN supplementation. Cells without or with FMN supplement were grown to OD ≈ 0.2 and treated with different concentrations of H2O2. Cell growth was monitored using a microplate reader with lag phase time analyzed using the R package growthrates. Results shown are average values ± SD of biological duplicates.
