Lower SBP accompanied by lower RPP was found in the ICM group than in the Sham group, while ischemic injury did not change DBP statistically. Dex restored the SBP in the ICM + Dex group. Persistent ischemia damaged cardiac contraction, manifesting as reduced Max Pressure, Max dP/dt, and Min dP/dt and increased EDP. Dex increased Max Pressure, Max dP/dt, and Min dP/dt and reduced EDP in the ICM + Dex group when compared to the ICM group. BML weakened the effects of Dex on left ventricular contraction.
