Silibinin in combination with valsartan inhibited renal fibrosis in vivo by suppression of TGF-β1 pathway. (A) The protein expressions of p-smad2 and p-smad3 in kidney tissues of mice were measured by Western-blot. Quantification of the ratio of (B) p-smad2 and (C) p-smad3 levels by normalizing to β-actin.
