IBS-SSS responders were defined as participants who had a clinically significant change in IBS-SSS (≥50 points) from baseline to 24 months.

PEQ responders are defined as patients achieving a score of 6 or more; PEQ was not recorded at baseline.

SGA responders are defined as patients achieving a score of 1–3; SGA was not recorded at baseline and was only recorded at 24 months for participants who completed the outcome measures by paper questionnaire.
