Measurements of the cortical and trabecular bone of the studied population
Measurement of quantitative analysis | MM exposed to BP (N = 33) |

FD, CBCT median (min-max) |
0.95 (0.58–1.19) |
0.90 (0.59–1.12) |

MM, multiple myeloma; BP, bisphosphonates; CBCT, cone beam computer tomography; MCT, mandibular cortical thickness; FD, fractal dimension; min-max, minimum-maximum; mm, millimeters
One individual with MM and two controls were excluded from FD measurement because imaging did not show enough amount of trabecular bone for the measurement, in the region of interest, due to missing teeth.
